Designs Of Chaos are a London based five piece who have been building a name for themselves on the underground scene with their stunning live shows and releases like the powerful The Chaos Engine EP which was described by Zero Tolerance magazine as “consistently muscular, melodic and magnificently performed”. Now, Designs Of Chaos are ready to unleash the follow up to The Chaos Engine – the magnificent The Darkest Storm.

This three track EP was written and partially recorded in early 2014 but in June of that year the band were stopped in their tracks by the tragic passing of their drummer, Chris Crammond. Chris lost his life in an accident at work, leaving the rest of the band shocked, broken and unsure how to carry on. Slowly they pulled together, and lent each other the strength to finish what they started. Friend of the band, drummer Andy Bramley stepped into the breach and at last Designs Of Chaos are back and The Darkest Storm can be unleashed on the world. Three songs that combine monstrously heavy riffs, searing solos and rabid vocals with fantastic musical dexterity and melodic awareness. Three songs born amidst tragedy that pay tribute and stand tall as a resounding triumph. Massive modern metal, precision thrash that pushes everything to the limit.
