Carlo Strappa laid guitar tracks for the score of “German Angst”, the new movie by horrormeisters Andreas Marschall, Jörg Buttgereit and Michal Kosakowski

Here’s the story: forthcoming art horror movie “German Angst” will include guitarwork by Resurrecturis’ Carlo Strappa in the soundtrack.
Scheduled to premiere at Rotterdam Film Festival in January 2015, the movie features three episodes by Germany’s most renamed horror movie directors this side of F.W. Murnau.
– Michal Kosakowski, director of “Zero Killed” and “The Heart Of It”.
– Andreas Marschall, author of “Tears Of Kali” and “Masks”, also renamed in the music industry for his album covers/videoclips for bands like Blind Guardian, Immolation, Kreator, Obituary, Sodom…
– Jörg Buttgereit, who acquired international fame through movies like “Nekromantik 1+2”, “Schramm” and “Der Todesking”.

The Soundtrack is signed by renamed composer Paolo Marzocchi who already scored movies by Kosakowski, Roland May, Chiara Sambuchi, etc. and Fabio Amurri known for his work in the band Crysalys.

“I’m very excited to be involved in this crazy film. I have been a fan of horror/splatter movies since my early teens and, judging from the scenes that I have previewed, “German Angst” will deliver!!
Last summer I met my old friend Paolo Marzocchi and he said he was working on a new score for a German horror movie by a team of three directors. I had already heard about this project and surprised him telling him the movie title and the names of the directors…
Needless to say I immediately offered my crafts to contribute to the score.
It’s very funny because on a couple of very early Resurrecturis concert we used bits from the soundtrack of Buttgereit’s “Nekromatik” as intro and now, some 20 years later, it’s like I’m returning a favor..” (Carlo Strappa / Resurrecturis)

Carlo Strappa’s guitarwork for “German Angst” will be heard in Andreas Marschall’s episode “Alraune”.

Resurrecturis began in Italy in 1990 and has been around in some form ever since.
During the course of its history the band has released 3 full-length albums, plus demos, mcd’s, ep’s and has toured/played with the likes of Master, Impaled Nazarene, Vital Remains, Dismember, Macabre, etc.
In 2015 Resurrecturis will release their 4th album, “Nazienda”.
